Bridge Update.

Work continues on the new bridge.

Up Up And Away.

Swan taking of from the lake, not the best set of photo's, I was looking the other way at the time heard the commotion, looked round to see the swan running along the water before launching itself skywards.

Moore Ducks.

Arrived at the side of the lake, within seconds this fabulous pair decided to swim over from the island to take a closer look at what was going on.

Runcorn Bridge.

Just recently I took advantage of the nice weather to take a walk around Spike Island with my grandson, great views of the Runcorn Bridge and across the River Mersey to Widnes.  Further up the river the progress that is being made on the "The Mersey Gateway Project" (The New 6 Lane Bridge) can be seen, work started in May 2014 and is due for completion in the Autumn of 2017.

 

For comparison 3 photos taken the next day when the tide was in, it was very calm day again the water looks like a mill pool.
